Hello lovely people! Its something how living life as normal can be turned upside down in a matter of seconds, minutes, hours, and days. The list of uncertainty can go on forever. It’s crazy how one thing can alter our life so drastically we don’t know how to conform to the new norm. When I began to look at how social media has taken this pandemic that swift our world so quickly and manifested COVID 19’s plan to annihilate every victim that comes in contact with it, it has lit a flame of panic in so many individuals just to leave them mentally distraught. As a number of deaths climb, variety of businesses close, and many individuals squander all they can to survive this pandemic, I am reminded of the importance to not lean on to my understanding of why this world is filled which such chaos but instead it strengthens me even the more to trust in God. I remember what the word of God says in the bible
Philippians 4:6-7 New King James Version (NKJV)
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus
It is so important for us to be reminded as Christians to not find hope or peace in doctors, medicine, jobs, social media, and many more materialistic things because those things are temporal. However, the only place you can receive everlasting peace is through Jesus Christ our savior. You might be reading this and wondering, “How in the world can I be anxious for nothing?” or ” How can I find peace at a time like this?”. I come to tell you that it is possible. It’s learning how to trust that we serve a God that is the creator of all things. It is trusting that God’s plan for your life is greater and that we serve a God that will never leave us nor forsake us. It’s learning how to give God thanks despite what it looks like but having faith that God will deliver us in His timing. We all have something we have been anxious about, but it’s in those times we work on the things we can change about our situation and give to God the things that are out of our control. Trust that God doesn’t make mistakes!
